Sending so much love to my friends and colleagues at the Healthcare Clowning International Meeting HCIM in Switzerland this week!

I’m truly sad I can’t be there in person, especially remembering the magic of being there four years ago, but I am so proud that our documentary, The Garbage Monster, is being presented at the conference.

Created by Ahmed Moussa this film captures the heart of our Theatre for Climate Justice and Clowns Without Borders project in Cairo. We used applied theatre and clowning to spark conversations about climate change and garbage pollution within displaced communities, empowering young people from Syria, Eritrea, South Sudan, and beyond to become environmental changemakers.
